This wire torsion testing machine is used to evaluate the mechanical properties and behavior of φ0.1mm to φ10mm steel wire, copper, aluminum and its alloy wire under torsional forces. The machine has a horizontal structure and is composed of transmission system, frame, left and right chucks, torque sensor, weight assembly and other parts.
The primary purpose of the wire torsion testing machine is to assess the wire’s ability to withstand plastic deformation in both one-way and two-way torsion. Additionally, this machine effectively reveals any surface or internal defects present within the wire, and measures the maximum torque achieved during the twisting process of the wire sample.
