The hydrostatic head test machine is a device used to measure the water resistance or water pressure resistance of fabrics, films, membranes, or coated materials. It determines the material’s ability to withstand water penetration under hydrostatic pressure. The test involves subjecting the material to increasing water pressure until water starts to penetrate through it. The point at which water begins to penetrate is known as the hydrostatic head.
